Abraham Njoya:

“I was born in1966 in Foumban, Western region of Cameroon where I did my primary school studies then my technical High School in Douala, Wouri division in the Littoral Region

I returned to Foumban afterwards and started business alongside my parents where I acquired much experience in Africa Art(wood, bronze carvings and ceramics)

In 1995, I moved to South Africa where I continued my trade in African Art, specialising mostly in curios (giraffes, big 5 and sundry anthropomorphic figures in the wood, stone, metal and fiberglass) till this day. I do business under the banner of Old Art From Africa(PYT)Ltd, registered company under the South African company act. I have a total of 26years experience in curios.

I have a retail outlet in Church Street Stellenbosch and the wholesale storage in Somerset West where all the carvings are being checked and finished off for distribution. All pieces are created in Southern Africa.”
